How to Make Sloppy Joe Dip with Cream Cheese
This dip is super easy to make. Simply brown some ground beef and mix in some Manwich Sloppy Joe Sauce, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese. Spread the mixture in a baking dish and pop it in the oven.
- Can sloppy joe dip be made in advance? Yes! You can make the dip a day or two in advance and refrigerate until ready to bake.
- Can I cut the recipe in half? Yes! You can cut the recipe in half if not feeding a crowd.
- What can I use instead of ground beef? You can substitute ground turkey or ground pork or breakfast sausage for ground beef.
- What can I add to the dip? Feel free to add some chopped fresh onion and bell peppers to the dip. I suggest adding them to the skillet when cooking the meat so they soften.
- How can I lower the calories in this dip? You can use ground turkey and low-fat cream cheese. I don't suggest fat-free cream cheese. It doesn't melt very well.
- Can I cook the dip in the slow cooker/crockpot? Yes! Can mix dip together and cook in the slow cooker.
- I used cheddar cheese in this dip. Feel free to use whatever cheese you prefer. Mexican cheese blend, pepper jack, Colby jack.
